What do you like most about Killington? What I like most about Killington is that it’s the best place to ski in the East and with it being so close to home, I get to enjoy it every year!
What is your favorite book/movie? Favorite movie: Shrek
Ideal day off? Playing golf with friends.
What’s your favorite animal? Dogs

Jon Greve Mountain Patrol Supervisor
|
What is your previous employment? Previous to my employment here at Killington, I worked construction while putting myself through school at The University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
What do you like most about Killington? What drew me to Killington was the community of people who surround the resort, and the phenomenal skiing.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? If I could live anywhere right now, I think it would still be Killington. I grew up on the east coast and much of my family is still around, it’s a luxury to have such good skiing while also having the ability to easily visit my folks.
Ideal day off? My ideal day off would start with a nice walk with the dogs, then I try to fit in some chorin’. After that I’ll usually get after some skiing. Either at the resort, or if conditions allow I’ll mix in some skinning and some backcountry skiing.
What is one kitchen appliance you couldn’t live without? Lastly, my new-found favorite kitchen appliance is a countertop milk frother! I didn’t know I needed it until we got it, and now I use it daily which has significantly upgraded my coffee game.

Here are a few great recent recognitions:
Kevin Ramirez Gonzalez - Lift Operations Recognized by Eric Spelko-Simister for Being Helpful Kevin works at another lift but helps park the Skyeship gondolas every Tuesday after his work is done at the other lift. He arrives at Skyeship and immediately starts to help us cleanup for the end of day and also helps makes sure everything is ready for morning launching before he leaves. Kevin. Thank you for going above and beyond!
Michelle Blackburn & Dawn Collie - Guest Services Recognized by Sharon Glaser on behalf of a guest
"After having several issues and going to counter at K-1 Michelle and Dawn were very helpful while trying to redeem vouchers while bringing my son for his 21st birthday to Killington where he wanted to go as a Snowboard Instructor while my daughter was enrolled in an Instructor Course on the Mtn today also.
When my daughter didn't have complete info on where to meet Michelle got us the info needed in a minute or two while others on the mountain were not able to help her find where to go in the snowshed complex.
Michelle by phone remotely got the info swiftly while my daughter was in a panic not being able to find out. In addition, they helped with my voucher redemption to get us out on the mtn to enjoy the great conditions of the day! Please keep them happy as they not only helped me but made me smile while doing so! "
Jean Carvill - Snow Sports Recognized by Donna Galotto for Creating Joy
Jean thank you so much for your assistance with the young women who were in Ramshead yesterday looking for beginner terrain. They were in the rental area talking with me when I asked for your advice. You took them under your wing, showed them how to do up their boots and sent them in the right direction. When I saw them later that afternoon, they told me they had an amazing time and really appreciated your help and advice. It is always a pleasure to see your friendly face here at Ramshead 😍
